Habit	Narrow column shape with uniform upright branching. Doesn't need pruning to maintain narrow habit.
Leaves	Large Glossy, dark green leaves with five to seven lobes. Turns deep red to scarlet in cool climates. Leaves often persisting over winter.
Planting	Shallow fibrous roots. Hardy. Very adaptable including wet or dry, clay or sandy soils, moderate drought, atmospheric pollution and wind.
General	An columnar form of Pin Oak that will create a very interesting feature in large landscapes. Use in areas where lateral space is restricted.
