Common Name: SAWTOOTH OAK

Size	Height 10m. Spread 8m.
Habit	Small to medium slow growing tree with dense, pyramidal shape rounding as matures.
Leaves	Dark green slender leaves with bristle like serrated margins. Flowers male catkins are yellow and pendulous appearing in spring, female catkins appear with leaves. Acorns are oval in shape two thirds covered by scales resembling hair.
Planting	Prefers moist, acid, well drained soils in full sun.
General	Attractive large feature tree. Hardy.
